Air Vistara, the newest airline to start domestic flights in India has chosen Chandigarh as one of the city from where it would be operating flights on a daily basis. Air Vistara is a joint venture between Singapore Airlines & India’s Tata Group. The airline had shown a keen interest to start flights from Chandigarh right in the beginning, at the time of their launch in year 2015.
Vistara’s Chandigarh – Delhi – Hyderabad Flight Timings
Vistara will not just connect Chandigarh & New Delhi by a new flight but will connect Chandigarh with Hyderabad with just 1 hour transit time at New Delhi.
Flight Number = UK 830.
It is a daily return flight that will start from Hyderabad in the morning, reach Delhi and then come to Chandigarh. From Chandigarh it would again go back to Delhi and there after fly to Hyderabad. The timings of the flight are:
The flight will start from Hyderabad at 10:00 AM and reach Chandigarh at 2:20 PM.
From Chandigarh, the flight will take off at 3:20 PM and reach Hyderabad at 7:20 PM.
If we talk about Chandigarh – New Delhi timings then:
Vistara Flight UK 830 will take off from New Delhi at 1:20 PM and reach Chandigarh at 2:20 PM. For return, Air Vistara aircraft will take off from Chandigarh at 3:20 PM and land at New Delhi at 4:20 PM.
It would be the same aircraft that will commence its journey to Hyderabad and passengers travelling from Chandigarh to Hyderabad or vice versa will not have to change the aircraft at New Delhi.
With this new flight that connects Chandigarh with Hyderabad, it will be easy for people to travel between the two cities. Earlier, there was no direct flight and moreover, people had to change aircraft and spent a lot of time between connecting flights. Such flights will surely help Chandigarh connect with other metro cities of India and help in the development of the city in terms of business & trade.
Vistara has offered inauguration discount on their Chandigarh – Delhi flight where they are offering tickets at Rs. 1990 for travel between Delhi & Chandigarh.
