SJOBA Rally 2015 flagged off from Chandigarh

The 2 day SJOBA Rally which is quite famous among Chandigarh citizens and car racing enthusiasts all over India, was flagged off from St. Johns School, Sector 26 on Saturday, 21st March 2015. A total of around 100 participants are competing in 2015 rally which has 3 categories of vehicles: Cars, Jeeps and Motorbikes.

Before the flag off, a super special stage was held at Exhibition Ground, Sector 34 to decide the standing position during the flag off. Cars, Jeeps and Motorbikes were seen whrooming around the specially created path consisting of sharp bends, U turns etc.

The 2015 SJOBA Rally will go through new routes. Most of the route is off-road. The schedule is as follow:

Day 1 (20 March 2015): Super Special Stage at Exhibition Ground, Sector 34, Chandigarh.

Day 2 (21 March 2015): Rally will move from St. John’s School, Sector 26, Chandigarh to Chail.

Day 3 (22 March 2015): Rally returns from Chail to Chandigarh.

Day 4 (23 March 2015): Prize Distribution and Dinner.

The route of the rally is as follow:

On March 21, the rally will go through Trilokpur, Morni, Badisher, Thapli, Mallah, Nainatikar, Dilman, Sultanpur, Gauda and reach Chail.

On March 22, the rally will start from Chail and go through Chalanda, Tehri, Koti, Junga, Jhajha, Ashinikhad, Dilman, Kangar, Bhojnagar, Chakki Mor and is expected to reach Chandigarh by 5:00 PM.
