Chandigarh Police Those who reside here might know that one of the reasons is the strict discipline by police officers. Traffic police of Chandigarh now will get even more unstoppable with the introduction of 119 motorbikes added to their fleet. Seems that already famous for one of the most strict disciplines, Chandigarh city wants to top the charts with this step.
What All has been added:
Chandigarh traffic police will be getting:
- 95 new Pulsars bikes.
- 24 new Royal Enfield bikes. (Popular as ‘bullet’).
Well, seems that there is an old relationship between the Chandigarh city and ‘Bullets’. These bikes are added to the police fleet hoping that it will improve the functionality of the police officers. These vehicles would be primarily used for patrolling and chasing down the suspects but will also be available for all other department works.
New Bikes for Chandigarh Police:
This new addition has already taken place. According to The Tribune, these 119 motorbikes addition was flagged off at Raj Bhawan in Sector-6 by UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore. He also shared his joy with riding one of the bikes.
What We Can Expect:
With these new bikes the Chandigarh Police has definitely become more stronger. Expect more number of bikes on each junction across the city and even at police nakas. One thing which is sure that criminals or traffic rule violators will not be able to run away.
With a lot of snaching incidents, it is assumed that Chandigarh Police will increase the patrolling in different sectors and these new 119 bikes will come handy in the operations. Apart from all this, machines are always good friends and with Pulsars and Bullets in the Chandigarh Police fleet, the city police will become more efficient.
