Maruti Suzuki will start accepting bookings for its most awaited car Swift 2018 from the third week of January. Swift 2018 launch will be one of the biggest launches of the year. The most anticipated hatchback was showcased in December 2016 in Japan. The new Swift was expected to be launched in 2017 but the company launched the new Dzire in 2017 and delayed the Swift to 2018. The Bookings for the new Swift will commence in the third week of January.
The third generation Swift is expected to be priced between Rs.5 lakh and Rs.8 lakh. However, the company has not yet fixed a price for the New Swift. The car was first launched in India in 2005 and since then it has been the most popular car in India. The Maruti Suzuki cars are popular in India due to their ease of ownership and reliability. The company has not paid much attention on the looks of the car for a long time but now it has started focussing on innovative designs that can be seen in Maruti Ciaz, Baleno, S Cross and the new Dzire 2017.
2018 Swift to Deliver More Power and Mileage
The 2018 Swift will be seen in completely different look although it will be powered by the same 1.2 litre Petrol engine and 1.3 litre Diesel engine. Also, the company has tuned the engines and installed a lighter chassis to deliver more power and mileage. As Indian customers are mileage sensitive, Maruti Suzuki aims to deliver more power and mileage from the same engine. The company might offer the new Swift with the Automatic transmission option. The company claims that the earlier Swift delivers a mileage of 18 kmpl while the 2018 Swift is likely to deliver 23 kmpl of mileage.
Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 Interiors
The interior of the Swift 2018 will continue with the black theme of the existing model. The dashboard will feature the new steering wheel and sporty instrument cluster. The Swift 2018 is also likely to get a new touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto support. Maruti has recently updated the infotainment system in all the existing cars with Android Auto. Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 will definitely woo new customers with its sporty new look, refreshed interiors and more mileage, power and many other features that have not been revealed by the company.
