Chandigarh Police have nabbed the accused auto drive in the Gangrape case of 21-year old Girl in Sector 53. After 1 week of the incident, Chandigarh Police finally grabbed the main accuse of the Gangrape happened in Sector 53 forest area. But still, the other 2 accused of the same Gangrape case are on a run, but police have got the clue of them from the arrested accused & for sure both will be arrested soon.
After the arrest, the team of the Police official interrogated & reconstructed the Gangrape incident along with the accused over the same routes in Chandigarh. Even the raids have been carried out in Tricity to arrest other 2 accused of Sector 53 Gangrape case.
And finally, the Accused in Sector 53 Gangrape case Arrested
The accused auto driver of 21-year-old girl gangrape case in Chandigarh has been identified as Mohammad Irfan (29 years), a resident near Dabur Godown Zirakpur & hails from UP. And to mislead the Police, he has also changed his look after the crime but he was arrested from the area of Sector 49 Police station. Also, the other 2 accused have been identified of as Garib & Poppu & both stays in Zirakpur only & are native of Faridabad & Sultanpur (UP). The arrested auto driver is a father of 4 kids- 2 sons & 2 daughters, whereas the 4th kid was delivered last week only.
On the day of Gangrape incident in Sector 53 Chandigarh, three of the accused consumed alcohol at Ram Darbar & planned to rape any of the passengers. Even the three-wheeler involved in the crime has been recovered by the Chandigarh Police that has been hidden by Irfan (accused) after the crime.
What was the whole incident of 21-year-old Gangrape in Chandigarh
Last Friday, a 21-year old Girl, who hails from Dehradun was Gang raped in the forest area of Sector 53 Chandigarh. The incident took place when took an auto to reach her PG in Mohali after completing her classes in Sector 37. She hired a share auto from Sector 37 to Mohali, but the auto driver turned to Sector 42 saying to refuel the vehicle. But after refuelling, he then took the auto to Sector 53 & complained that his vehicle cannot move forward. And then when the victim agreed to move on, all the three accused grabbed her & took her to the forest area & committed the crime.
