Reliance Jio (4G) 2017
Reliance Jio is the fastest growing service provider of Telecom industry. It is growing at 4.25 percent monthly. Now Reliance Jio is likely to make 3 big announcements being customer centric during its annual general meeting scheduled for July 21, 2017. Through sources; here is what could be in store for Reliance Jio users. The three big announcements that could possibly be made on July 21 are regarding Cheapest 4G phone, Cheaper Tariffs and Jio Fiber.
Jio Fiber
Reliance Jio announced that Jio Fiber will be launched in various cities of India being Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi-NCR, Surat, Jamnagar and Vadodara for free under its Jio Fiber Preview offer. The new Jio Fiber offer will be broadband service offer for Reliance Jio users. Reliance Jio would offer the new service for free for a period of three months.
As per sources, it is clear that company will be offering huge 100 Mbps speed with a cap of 100GB per month free of cost for first three months. Though Reliance Jio data would be offered by the company to its users for free, still customers are required to make a payment of Rs. 4500 for the installation. However, even installation amount might be refunded later. After expiry of three months free service, the broadband prices are expected to be around Rs. 500 for 600 GB data per month and Rs 2000 per month for 1000 GB data at 100 Mbps speed.
Cheapest 4G Phone
The company is expected to launch a new 4G feature phone. The new launch by the company is expected to be priced at Rs. 500. If this happens, the Era of 2G and 3G phone will surely come to an end. The phone is expected to have ‘Lyf’ branding on it and will likely come with basic 200 series Qualcomm chipset. Reliance Jio leaked images of the new phone shows that phone will come up with 2-megapixel rear camera and torch as well. The company took such decision to expand the 4G market in the country.
Cheaper Jio Tariffs in 4G
Reliance Jio 4G is expected to come up with new data plans for Reliance Jio customers. As Reliance Jio is expected to launch a new 4G phone worth Rs. 500, company is thinking to come up with smaller and cheaper 4G plans as Rs.300- Rs 400 plans would not make sense. Reliance Jio might do away with all the free offers and introduce the minimum floor price for both data and voice calls.
