The Tier-III level of the ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination’ is a ‘Descriptive Paper’ held as an offline ‘Written Exam’, every year for the Tier-2 qualified candidates. The SSC CGL 2017 Tier-3 exam shall also be conducted in the same manner as a descriptive written test for the aspirants who crack the SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 exam online. Furthermore, SSC CGL 2017 Tier-3 exam carries 100 marks which has to be attempted in a limited time frame of 60 minutes. The SSC CGL 2017 Tier-3 exam usually consists of ‘Letter-Writing’ and ‘Essay-Writing’ with a fixed number of word limit which is 150 words & 250 words respectively which candidates are expected to adhere to. The marks weighatge assigned to both of the sections are equally distributed carrying 50 marks each.

The exam schedule for the Tier-III of SSC CGL 2017 is available online on the official website of the Commission at ssc.nic.in online. Staff Selection Commission as conducting authority of the SSC CGL 2017 examination held its Tier-I in the month of August 2017 followed by all set to hold the Tier-II of the same in January 2018.
