
In the wake of cut-throat competition of staying ahead in the race of fastest mobile and internet connectivity at an unbeatable price, the telecommunication giants in India have slashed down their internet tariff plans massively.
With the extension of Reliance Jio prime registration plan up till April 15 and its 3 months of extra offer for free data, other telecom companies like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and BSNL have also reduced their internet data plan drastically.

Vodafone
Vodafone had earlier introduced a recharge pack of Rs 346 that included 28GB of internet data and unlimited free calls. It had also started 1GB data cap on free usage beyond which the customers will be charged extra. To the Vodafone Delights subscribers (post- paid users), it is offering 24GB of free data in a cycle of 3 months.
Pack validity: 28 days
Free calling: 300 minutes/day and total 1200 minutes in a week (Local & STD).
Reliance Jio
Reliance Jio subscribers will have to pay Rs 99 to continue with free data of the Happy New Year offer. an additional cost of Rs 303 per month to be spent for Jio’s 4G services for a year. All the Jio users will be offered a FUP limit of 1GB data per day i.e 30GB data for a month for Rs 10 per day.
Free calling: All local and STD and messages (on roaming too)
Idea Cellular
Idea Cellular has also come up with its revised internet data packs for both prepaid and postpaid users. At the cost of Rs 348 Idea is offering free calling across India and 1GB 4G data on per day basis to its prepaid subscribers. At Rs 348, it is offering free calls across India to any other network with 50MB of data.
Airtel
Airtel has revised its tariff plans for both prepaid and postpaid customers. In Rs 345, the prepaid subscriber can avail free calls along with 1 GB 4G data each day. To use 500MB data during the day and 500MB during the night, the Airtel user was supposed to sign up before March 31 after which the top up will be applicable for the next 11 months.

BSNL
BSNL, government owned telecom company also could not resist from slashing down its data tariffs to come at par with its other private counterparts. It launched 2 GB 3G data plan on per day basis with unlimited BSNL to BSNL calling for Rs 339 pan India. It has also introduced a 10 GB/day data pack in Rs 249 for unlimited wireline broadband users, which includes free calls on Sundays and in the night between 9 pm to 7 am.
