4th Chandigarh Children’s Literature Festival (Jan 2017)

What is better way to start a new year other than a Literature Festival. The city beautiful Chandigarh will be experiencing the 4th Chandigarh Children’s Literature Festival (CCLF 2016- 2017). The 4th edition of the literature fest will begin on 27th January 2017 at Dikshant Global School. It has been hosted by Adab Foundation in association with Dikshant Global School. Chandigarh Children’s Literature Festival has been organised with the aim to explore the creativity of students and develop their interest into reading. This season of Children’s Literature Festival will be a mix of sessions and workshops on creative writing, story telling and much more.

Time: 9 AM to 5 PM

What all will be there?

With the ethos of entertainment, this 2 day Chandigarh Children’s Literature Festival is all set to mark records in Chandigarh. The award- winning children’s literature authors, illustrator and storytellers from all over India will be participating in the 4th Chandigarh Children’s Literature Festival.  It will also focus on:

  • Creative writing
  • Digital photography
  • Authors, illustrator and storyteller from all over India
  • Penning reality fiction
  • Workshops and sessions in creative writing and much more

Some big authors like Sowmya Srinivasan, Vikram Sridhar, Mathangi Subramanian and Khushnaz Lala will be seen reading excerpts from their books in the fest. Workshops like ‘Jalebi Ink’, ‘Ravan Refuses to Die’, ‘Gone Grandmother will be held by Anuradha Sengupta, Rustom Dadajchandji and Chattura Rao respectively. Names like Srivi Kalyan, Priya Kukriyan will also have an interactive session with the children in the fest.

All in all it is a knowledgeable as well as entertaining fest for the students, where one can gather huge knowledge along with fun.
