5 Things That Prove Panchkula Mayhem Was Planned | Shocking Truth Behind Dera Sacha Sauda Plan

It may be shocking, but there are five things that prove that the violence in Panchkula was planned. Rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh the Dera Sacha Sauda chief has been sentenced to 10 years in jail by a special CBI court today but the aftermath of the conviction on August 25 by the CBI Court in Panchkula is still a nightmare for the Panchkula residents that almost changed the identity of the calm city. There may be more than several reasons that prove that the violence was triggered by the dera supporters but here are five reasons that establish the fact that Panchkula mayhem was planned.

Dera followers stockpiled sticks, petrol

According to a report by the Hindustan Times, dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s followers had stockpiled weapons in the naam charcha ghar in Panchkula ahead of the verdict in the CBI court in Panchkula. It was also reported that information had been gathered that the followers at these centers had also started storing petrol, diesel and sharp weapons to create nuisance in the city. Though temporary jails were made one in Chandigarh’s Sector 16 cricket stadium and the other one in Tau Devi Lal Stadium sector 21 Panchkula but the Police could not avert the violent chaos.

Followers were deployed to trigger violence

According to a Firstpost report, Haryana police seized a sum of Rs 38 lakh from Dera follower which was meant to trigger violence in the state following the verdict in the rape case. According to the report, Rs 38 lakh was recovered from a house in Ambala which was to be allegedly used to trigger violence and arson in the state as stated by a senior police official. Shockingly, in the initial investigation, it was revealed by the accused dera follower that they had collected cash from dera followers which was to be allegedly disseminated amid ‘qurbani‘ teams to pull off the violence.

Sedation charges against dera office bearers

As per a Times of India report sedition as well as attempt to murder charges have been slapped against seven persons for the violence in Panchkula that killed around 30 people in the city. Shockingly, this number also includes five Haryana police personnel. Yes, that’s true! These five Haryana police persons were part of the Dera Sacha Sauda chief’s security convoy when he appeared in a CBI court in Panchkula on August 25. Apart from these police persons case of sedition has also been registered against dera spokespersons Aditya Insan and another dera office bearer Dhiman Insan.

Heavy ammunition recovered from Dera chief’s cavalcade

As per a report in the Economic Times, the Haryana Police recovered heavy ammunition from different vehicles of dera followers who were accompanying Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s cavalcade on August 25 from Sirsa to the special CBI Court in Panchkula. As per the report, the police recovered an AK 47, five pistols, one mouser, sharp edged weapons, two rifles and other arsenals from two vehicles of Dera followers. The report also mentions that two FIRs (first information reports) have been registered against the dera security who indulged in a scuffle with a senior police officer after his conviction by the CBI court in Panchkula

Fire brigade belonging to the Dera impounded with inflammable

The Tribune reported around 24 vehicles have been impounded by the Police which were a part of the convoy of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim. These vehicles, mostly SUVs in black and white colour, accompanied Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, Dera Sacha Sauda chief from Sirsa to the CBI court in Panchkula when he appeared in the Panchkula CBI court on August 25 last week. Surprisingly, the Police also impounded one fire tender, which was a part of the convoy, and seized some unknown chemical in the fire tender. It was reported that Forensic teams were called in to check the substance in one of the containers in the fire tender. The fire tender also had containers filled with diesel/petrol which is highly inflammable, but the reason, as in why it was kept in the fire tender, is still unknown.

Well, all these points suggest that the dera chief’s personal security as well as the followers who had gathered here in Panchkula were equipped with arms and ammunition to execute a major violence in the state. Thanks to the Indian Army that led the charge and secured the city from a major mishap.
