Honda Amaze 2018 Facelift Might Trump Maruti Dzire With Features Like Cruise Control

Honda Amaze will come with cruise control and paddle shifters on CVT variants of the car

The 2018 Facelift of the Honda Amaze is expected to launch in the month of May instead of April as rumored before. The dealers have already started accepting bookings for the facelift for a token amount of 21,000 Rupees and believe the deliveries will commence by the end of May. While we are weeks shy from the official launch, a report by Cartoq, sheds light on some of the features of the Honda Amaze 2018 Facelift.

The looks and styling of the new Honda Amaze 2018 have been the talk of the town since the Auto Expo but there is more to the car than just that. Apparently, the car will come with some segment first features including a Cruise Control system as well which we have only seen in the Volkswagen Ameo as far as the compact sedans like Honda Amaze are concerned.

Honda Amaze 2018 Facelift Will Come With Paddle Shifters and Cruise Control

From what it seems like, the segment leader Maruti Suzuki Dzire has pretty strong reasons to fear the all new Honda Amaze Facelift that is coming in May 2018. The compact car segment has never been focused on features but the Amaze might change things for good. The car will come with Cruise Control which is a feature only seen in the Volkswagen Ameo if the competition is concerned.

Then there is also the added luxury of Paddle shifters on the CVT variants of the Honda Amaze. The CVT too will be offered on both the diesel and petrol variants.

Coming to the inside, the Honda Amaze facelift will offer more space on the inside than the outgoing model. Honda will equip the car with its Digipad infotainment system which we hope comes with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. However, realistically that might not happen since the bigger City too gives it a miss.

Honda Amaze Facelift 2018 Price in India

There are also reports of the 2018 Facelift of the Honda Amaze costing more than the outgoing model but we expect the hike to be around 25,000-30,000 thus keeping things largely the same. This will keep things tight between the Maruti Dzire and the Honda Amaze 2018.
