Hyundai Motor is soon to launch a new four wheeler model Lafesta and it got unveiled in China during the Beijing Auto Show, recently. Though the newly upcoming Lafesta is likely to hit the Indian roads too but that may take a little longer as Hyundai will first see its response in China alone. This new kid on the block, Lafesta is a sedan car that comes with an additional Sportback styling in order to attract the younger consumer base. The manufacturer, Hyundai Motor is expected to launch Lafesta in China by the year-end in.
Hyundai Motors chose to launch its upcoming sedan Lafesta in China first, as the country is fast evolving and so is the temperament of its citizen. Their ever-growing economy and their approach towards leading a life as per the current trend has attracted the manufacturers of Lafesta to make it hit the Chinese roads first.
Specs & features of Hyundai Motor Lafesta
During the Geneva Motor Show 2018, last month, Hyundai had announced Lafesta’s new design theme around which it is built. As per the reports, the upcoming Lafesta will be supported by one of its kind features for safety and driving. Hyundai Motor’s Lafesta houses a 1.6 turbo GDI engine coupled with the transmission of 7-speed dual clutch.
Though Lafesta’s renders have not given a clear picture of the torque and power of its engine but it is speculated to be between 190 bhp to 200 bhp. However, the exact specifications and features of the car will be made public during its official launch. The price of the upcoming Lafesta sedan has not been announced yet but it is surely going to be a few lakh higher than its other predecessors in India.
Other attractions at the Beijing Auto Show
During the Beijing Auto Show, Hyundai also unveiled its two other model including the ix35 connected car and the Encino SUV concept other than the Lafesta sedan. The ix35 connected car was the special craft commissioned for the auto show to represent the technology of Baidu’s connectivity while Encino is designed as the compact SUV with the vision to cater young crowd.
