Delhi Metro Magenta Line Set to Fully Functional Soon | Know Stations & Route

Delhi Metro Magenta Line: The Indira Gandhi International Airport is all set to witness its first ever metrolink with the Magenta Line of the Delhi Metro. Delhi Metro is one of the common terms of transport for most of the Delhi people and now it will be even more convenient for the people as the domestic terminal of the Indira Gandhi International airport located in Delhi is known to be soon having its very first metro link.

The Magenta Line Section which shall be connecting the Kalkaji Mandir to the Janakpuri West will be open for public use in a short time period. This connection is going to cut the travel time from Gurugram (Gurgaon) to Noida with a considerable duration.

Less Travel Time With The Delhi Metro Magenta Line

With the Delhi Metro Magenta Line’s connection with the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, the travel time of the people is likely to reduce and the IGI Airport along with the other places will be becoming more accessible unlike before. As per the reports, the Commissioner for the Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) carried out a safety check over a distance of about 25 kilometers recently.

Once the clearance is given by the CMRS, the Delhi Metro shall begin with the related operations. The travel time from Noida to Gurugram (Gurgaon) is likely to be reduced to 50 minutes. Also, the time in between the West Delhi region as well as the southern areas like the Greater Kailash, Munirka, Chirag Delhi as well as Vasant Vihar etc is likely to get reduced.

The first section of the Delhi Metro Magenta Line which connects the Botanical Garden located in Noida to the Kalkaji Mandir was opened by PM Modi for the public on 27 December 2017.

Delhi Metro Blue Line | Feeder For Blue Line Stations

The Delhi Metro Magenta Line is all set to become a feeder for some of the important blue line stations like the Botanical Garden as well as the Janakpuri West. The metro station at Hauz Khaz will be becoming the interchange point in between the Delhi Metro Magenta Line as well as the Yellow line which is from the HUDA City Centre to the Samaypuri Badli.

The line is known to connect the areas with a higher footfaall like Sagarpur, Dabri, Dashrathpur, Palam, Mahavir Enclave and many more. The journey time from the South Delhi to the airport is also set to be reduced.
