UPPSC (Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission) PCS Mains 2017 Hindi paper has been cancelled. PCS exam was being conducted in total of the 28 centres in Allahabad and Lucknow from June 18th to 6th July. This exam was organised by PCS for recruiting Deputy Collectors, deputy SP, horticulture officer and many more.
The reason for the cancellation was that the second section of the paper was mistakenly distributed during the first half. As per the sources, the paper that was designed for Tuesday will be conducted later.

An official at IANS confirmed that the date for the exam has not yet been decided. Also, the word came out directly from the UPPSC-Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission that other than the exams that were scheduled on Tuesday will be conducted on decided schedule. Online media sources also confirm that heavy police force was deployed at the UPPSC headquarters located in Allahabad suspecting the backlash of thousands of the students.
PCS Exam (UPPSC) Conducted In Two Shifts at 28 Centres in Lucknow & Allahabad
The PCS exam conducted by UPPSC (Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission) was scheduled for Monday in 11 centres of Lucknow and 17 centres in Allahabad. News sources also confirm that the essay question papers were distributed to the aspirants instead of Hindi. The rejection of the request from students to conduct exam as per the planned schedule led to the protest among the students against UPPSC.
The PCS exam conducted under UPPSC-Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission was scheduled to be conducted in two different shifts. Also, the protest was reported after the wrong exam paper was distributed among the students during the first session.
The protest, however, did not get out of control as the heavy police was deployed to control. The student were frustrated with the distribution of the wrong paper. The exam is scheduled in two shifts that is Morning (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Afternoon (2:00 PM to 12:30 PM).
