UPTET 2018: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has closed the application process for TET (UP Teachers Eligibility Test) registration for the year 2018. After the extension of the last date for the UPTET online application, a total of 4 Lakh more candidates registered themselves for the same. The last date for the online application for UPTET 2018 was 7th October.
Just a day before to the last date only on 4th October 2018, UP Basic Education Board has extended the last date for the online application. Now the number of applicants for the UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test) Exam for the year 2018 has crossed 2 million, check out further details below.
UPTET 2018: 22 Lakh Candidates Register For the Positions
Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board although had extended the last date for online application for TET 2018 from 5th to 7th October. Now even the extended date for the UPTET Exam for 2018 has ended as per the official website. Although before to the extension of the last date almost 18 lakhs candidates applied for the UPTET Exam 2018.
Whereas the new last date that was 7th October 2018 rose the number of UP Teachers Eligibility Test candidates to 22 Lakhs. From 6.15 Lakhs the number of candidates rose to 18.20 Lakhs and now by the end of the UPTET online application process, almost 22.77 Lakhs candidates have appeared for the exam. Although out of the 22.77 Lakh students only 13.12 Lakh candidates successfully filled the application fee as well. According to reports, this has been records of UPTET 2019 applications as last year the numbers were around 9.76 Lakhs.
Exam Date & More Details of UPTET Recruitment 2018
Now almost 13.12 Lakhs candidates, who aspire to become teachers will appear for the Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test for the year 2018 in the month of November. According to the official website of UP Basic Education Board, TET exam in the state will be held on 4 November 2018. Whereas the result of UPTET Exam 2018 will be declared by 20 November on the official website of the Board.
