OPSC Recruitment 2018: Odisha Public Service Commission has postponed the prelims exam of Odisha Civil Service for the year 2018. As per the new notification, the OCS Prelims exam 2018 has been postponed by a month. OPSC along with the postponed notice has also announced the new date for the OCS Prelims exam for the year 2018.

Although the online registration process for the OPSC Recruitment 2018 has ended. Now the applicants have been preparing for the OCS Prelims exam for the year 2018. Although the applicants will now get a whole month to appear for the prelims exam 2018. Know the new date of OCS Prelims exam 2018 below.

OPSC Recruitment 2018: Prelims Exam Date Changed | Here’s new Date

Odisha Public Service Commission in its recent notification has extended the prelims exam date for Odisha Civil Service Recruitment 2018. According to the previous notification, OCS Prelims exam 2018 was supposed to be held on 28 October. Now as stated in the recent notification, the OCS Prelims exam will be conducted on 25 November 2018. The exam will be conducted in 5 zonal centres- Sambalpur, Balasore, Cuttack, Bhubneshwar and Berhampur.

A total of 218 posts have been rolled out by OPSC for OCS Recruitment 2018 under Employment Service, Administrative Service, Police Service, Finance Service, Cooperative Service, Revenue Service and Taxation and Accounts Service. Whereas the admit card for the prelims exam can be downloaded 7-10 days prior to the exam from the official website. Although OPSC has taken the decision to extend the exam date due to technical issues occurred OSDC VPN Service.

More Details Regarding the OPSC Prelims Exam 2018

Odisha Public Service Commission for the OCS prelims exam 2018 will be of 2 general studies paper and each of the paper will have total marks of 200. Candidates whosoever will score 33% of marks in Prelims will only move forward for the main exam for the OPSC Recruitment 2018. General category candidates can only appear for the exam 4 times, whereas OBC students can apply 7 times and SC/ST candidates have no limit to appear for the OCS exam.
