7th Pay Commission | Government’s New Plan to Give These Employees Pay Hike Twice a Year

7th Pay Commission: 50 Lakh Central Government employees have been desperately waiting for the Government to take action on the recommendation of the 7th pay commission regarding the basic pay hike. While the wait still goes on, a good news has been out stating that the Haryana government has taken a decision to increment the pay of all the guest teachers by 20-25 percent. Guest Teachers to get Salary hike twice a year under 7th Pay commission

The media reports suggest that although there has been no decision on the matter of minimum pay hike recommended by seventh pay commission, Haryana government has decided to increase the salary of the guest teachers by 20-25 percent. The good news does not end here, but the government also plans on raising the salary of these guest teachers twice a year.

As per the reports regarding the 7th Pay Commission, all the JBT/Drawing teachers will soon get Rs. 26,000 and Rs. 30,000 as their salaries. Also, the benefit also extends to master or school lecturers, who will be given Rs. 36,000 as salary.

This decision was made during the meeting that held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar along with the union of the guest teachers. This meeting was regarding the salary increment of the guest teachers & lecturers recommendation made by 7th pay commission. Education minister Ram Bilas Sharma was also present in the meeting when the decision was taken.

The Salary increment for guest teachers recommended by 7th Pay Commission

After today, the salary of this group of guest teachers and lecturers will next be incremented from January 1, 2019, which will be incremented by the number that will be equal to the increase in the cost of living index defined by the economic and statistical analysis department, Haryana.

So, while 50 Lakh employees still are in fix with what government is going to decide on the recommendation of 7th pay commission on the matter of minimum pay hike, the good news has come out of Haryana for incrementing guest teachers and lecturers pay.
