7th Pay Commission | Non Teaching Staff Next to Get Salary Hike – Check Deatils

On the recommendation of 7th Pay Commission, the government has ruled out quite a number of new decision in 2017. In the light of recent events, it can be observed that 7th Pay Commission is not going to rest. With the new update of government approving the pay hike of teaching staff for all the UGC affiliated colleges, now 7th Pay commission is recommending to include the Non-teaching staff.

Teachers Getting Pay Hike on 7th Pay Commission

This Wednesday teacher of all the UGC funded colleges got a good news of getting a pay hike. Applicable from 1st January 2018, all the teachers of the UGC affiliated colleges that is approximately 8 Lakh will enjoy the hike in the pay as per the recommendation of 7th Pay Commission.

It also came to light that the upgraded pay package will also cover in the teachers of 119 centrally funded technical institutes including IITs, NIITE, IIMs, IISc, and IISERs. The meeting headed by PM Narender Modi concluded on the notion that the hike in the pay matrix might further be enhanced for the teachers lying in the range of Rs. 10,400 and Rs. 49,800.

The New Recommendation of 7th Pay Commission To Favor Non-Teaching Staff

After the increase of the pay for the teaching staff of the UGC funded colleges and universities on the recommendation of 7th Pay Commission, the DUTA that is Delhi University Teachers’ Association has lined up the demand of the frequent approval of pay hike for the non-teaching staff of the universities and colleges. After official confirmation of the increase of pay for the teachers of government colleges and universities between the range of Rs. 10,400 and Rs. 49,800 in comparison with the current pay now, the DUTA is putting a word in for 7th Pay commission to improvise the pay scale for the non-teaching staff of the colleges and universities.

7th Pay Commission has not disrespected any demands of the Indian Government employees and has proved itself capable of bringing positive changes in the pay matrix of the government at different levels. Modi Sarkaar is also responsible for the effectiveness of the orders passed on the recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission. In light of all the actions, the non-teaching staff of the UGC affiliated colleges and universities can expect the pay hike soon.
