7th Pay commission | Govt. to Renew Minimum Pay and Fitment Factor by Jan 2018

The 7th Pay commission is going to renew the pay system for a central government employee. Most likely by the January 2018, CPC will enable the hike in the minimum pay and fitment factor. In regards to the 7th pay commission recommendations, the government is taking actions to improve the pay rate for the central government employee and if the motion is passed by the government the new salaries will be implemented from January 2018. In June government has approved the recommendation of increasing the minimum base pay for its employees from Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 18,000 per month.

Minimum Pay Hike to Be Issued by Government As per the 7th Pay Commission  Recommendations 

Evidently, as per the continuous recommendation of the 7th pay commission for raising the minimum pay, the government has almost decided to raise the base pay from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 21,000. The National Anomaly committee established is September 2016 is going to look forward the recommendations put on the table by the 7th Pay commission [CPC] in the meeting to be scheduled around the end of the September or beginning of October this year. Whereas the government is deciding to raise the pay to Rs. 21,000 there, the employee’s demands are rising to Rs. 26,000 of minimum payments.

Fitment Factor to be raised to 3 from 2.57 as per 7th Pay Commission 

As per the Cabinet based on the 7th Pay commission recommendations, along with the minimum pay, the government may also raise the fitment factor from 2.57 to 3 times. In case if the fitment factor is approved to be raised to 3 from 2.57 then, the salary and the pension will automatically rise under the 7th pay commission.

Also as per the sources, the government is going to raise pension 54 Lakh central government employee. Rest all the decisions are to be taken at the cabinet meeting going to be held by the end of the September or in the First week of October.

As per the continuous efforts of the 7th pay commission cabinet to help raise the pay scale for the central government employees, finally, the meeting is going to be held to finalize the terms. If the government nods their head in favor, January 2018 will come with the high pay scale for all the central government employees.
