Diwali 2018 and 7th Pay Commission

Maharashtra State government has taken a final decision on the matter of the minimum pay hike recommendation made by 7th Pay commission. According to what news suggests, the government employees in Maharashtra are going to get the basic pay hike as per the recommendation of 7th CPC this November from the day of Diwali.

The government officials said and we state “ The seventh pay commission recommended pay hike will be our gift to the employees this Diwali”.

Impact of this 7th Pay Commission Decision in Country’s Finances

This decision will implicate the financial burden of Rs. 21, 530 Crore on the state exchequer. As per the internal information, the finance department only managed the provision of Rs. 10,000 Crore in its annual budget presented in March 2018.
