7th Pay Commission | These Employees will Enjoy Basic Pay Hike This Diwali

7th pay commission has recommended the minimum pay hike for 50 Lakh central government employees months back. The government however has not yet taken any decision on the matter. The inability of the government to take this decision is going to get to an end. The latest media reports suggest that the Maharashtra government is all set to implement the minimum pay hike under seventh pay commission by this year’s Diwali festival.

Diwali 2018 and 7th Pay Commission

Maharashtra State government has taken a final decision on the matter of the minimum pay hike recommendation made by 7th Pay commission. According to what news suggests, the government employees in Maharashtra are going to get the basic pay hike as per the recommendation of 7th CPC this November from the day of Diwali.

The government officials said and we state “ The seventh pay commission recommended pay hike will be our gift to the employees this Diwali”.

Impact of this 7th Pay Commission Decision in Country’s Finances

This decision will implicate the financial burden of Rs. 21, 530 Crore on the state exchequer. As per the internal information, the finance department only managed the provision of Rs. 10,000 Crore in its annual budget presented in March 2018. The remaining amount under 7th Pay Commission, however, is assumed to be managed through supplementary demands in the next year’s budget.

This is not where the good news ends, the government is also planning on granting the child care leave for two years that is 730 days to women government employees and 15 days paternal leave. Well last but not the least, soon there might be a good chance that the government will start a 5-day week working system for all the CG employees.

There is also the news spreading around that the government is planning to implement the 7th pay commission recommended minimum pay hike for all the employees on 15 August 2018. This news, however, has not been confirmed by any governmental authority.
