Aarushi Talwar Murder Case | Allahabad HC Acquits Nupur & Rajesh Talwar of Their Daughter’s Murder

In Aarushi Talwar murder case, today, the Allahabad High Court acquitted both Nupur and Rajesh Talwar of their daughter’s killing. The infamous Aarushi Talwar murder case could not see the light of the day, today, as the deceased still could not get the justice from the higher court. The Allahabad High Court in its final verdict today pronounced the Talwar couple not guilty of their daughter, Aarushi Talwar and their domestic help, Hemraj’s murder that took place in the year 2008.

The final verdict on Aarush Talwar murder case

In the jam-packed courtroom of Allahabad High Court with over 300 people, the judges acquitted the Talwar couple in the double murder case. The judges had arrived at 2:40 pm and just took 10 minutes to read out the verdict. Both, Nupur and Rajesh Talwar were cleared of the charges saying that none can be convicted on the basis of suspicion. Therefore, the Bench at the Allahabad High Court gave Talwar couple the benefit of doubt as the CBI failed to prove them guilty.

Previously, the parents of Aarushi Talwar, Nupur and Rajesh Talwar were convicted of committing the twin by the special CBI court in the year 2013. Both, Nupur and Rajesh Talwar were serving life imprisonment in Ghaziabad’s Dasna Jail on the charges of honor killing his daughter, Aarushi Talwar and their domestic help, Hemraj as they were found in the compromising state in the house. The dentist Talwar couple had then filed an appeal in the Allahabad High Court proving their innocence in twin murder.

How was Aarushi Talwar & Hemraj murdered

Talking about the double murder case, Aarushi Talwar, who was soon going to be 14 in the year 2008 was found murdered in her bedroom of the house located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh on May 16, 2008. Her through was slit and head bludgeoned. Initially, the family suspected their domestic help, Hemraj to have committed the murder but the very next day his body was also found on the terrace with the slit on the throat, head and other multiple injuries on the body. During the initial investigation, the murder was ruled out to have been done by someone with full medical precision and suspected involvement of an insider.

The Noida Police also suspected involvement of Vishnu Sharma, a former domestic help at the Talwars’ residence, Krishna, assistant & compounder at the Rajesh Talwar’s Dental Clinic. During the investigation, all the suspects including the dentist Talwar couple had gone through the Polygraph (lie detection) test and narco analysis.
