Educational Qualification for AFCAT 2
For Flying Branch, the eligibility is bachelor degree in any stream with at least 60% marks and Math and Physics in 10+2 level/. For Ground Duty or Technical Branch, the eligibility is 10+2 Intermediate Minimum 60% Marks in Physics and Math and Minimum 4 Year Graduation / Integrated PG Degree in Engineering / Technology for Aeronautical Engineering Electronics and for Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical, Candidates with Minimum 60% Marks Each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level and 4 Year Engineering / Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Equivalent Degree.

Salary and Allowances
A Flying Officer will be entitled to Pay in Pay Band (15,600 – 39,100) per month along with Grade Pay, Military Service Pay. Dearness, Kit Maintenance & Transport Allowance.
