AFCAT 2018 Online Exam | Application Process Starts – Check All Details

AFCAT 2018: Indian Air Force has invited online applications from the candidates for the Air Force Common Admission Test 2018 (AFCAT Exam 2018). The online applications process for the same has started on the official website. AFCAT 2018 Exam – Important Dates

The starting date for the online applications for the AFCAT exam 2018 is 16th June. For the Flying Duty and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical), the application process has started. Candidates can now apply online on the official website. The last date to fill the application form for the AFCAT exam is 15th July 2018. All candidates are advised to fill the AFCAT Exam 2018 application form on or before the last date.

AFCAT Exam 2018 – Application Fee & Age Limit

Application Fee: The application fee for the AFCAT Entry is Rs.250. This application fee is for all category candidates. There is no fee for the NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry. Candidates can pay the application fee via online banking by debit card, credit card or by net banking.

Age Limit: For the Flying Branch the age limit for the AFCAT Exam is 20-24 years. The age limit for the Ground Duty Technical, the age limit is 20-26 years. For the Ground Duty Non-Technical, NCC Special Entry Flying Branch and Meteorology Entry Ground Duty Non-Technical, the age limit is 20-26 years.

AFCAT Exam 2018 – Vacancies

There are three Entries i.e AFCAT Entry, NCC Special Entry, and Meteorology Branch. For the Flying Branch under the AFCAT Entry, there are 42 vacancies. For the Ground Duty Technical (AE(L): PC-22, SSC-30, AE(M): PC-10, SSC-14) vacancies. For the Ground Duty Non Technical (Admin: PC-8 SSC-12, Logistics: PC-1, SSC-4, Accounts: PC-3, SSC-5, Education:PC-3, SSC-4) vacancies. For the NCC Special Entry in Flying branch 10% of seats of CDSE and for the Meteorology Branch, Ground Duty there are PC-10, SSC-14 vacancies.

AFCAT 2018 Exam – Other Important Details

Candidates who want to apply for the AFCAT Exam 2018 can apply online on the official website. the official website to apply online for the Air Force Common Admission Test 2018 is https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in and https://afcat.cdac.in. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written test and then the SSB Interview.
