AFCAT 2018 – Important Dates
The online application for the Indian Air Force has started online. The application has started from 16 December 2017 and the last date to apply online for AFCAT 2018 is 14 January 2018. All candidates are advised to fill the online application form for the AFCAT 2018 on or before the last date. AFCAT 2018 – How To Apply
The online application for the AFCAT 2018 exam has started and all interested candidates who want to apply can apply online. To apply go to the official website careerairforce.nic.in or afcat.cdac.in. Go to the website and then head over to Candidate Login. In this selection choose the field and now start filling the application form.
AFCAT 2018 – Branches & Age Limit
Age Limit – For the candidates who are applying for the Flying Branch in Indian Air Force The minimum age limit is 20 years and maximum age limit is 24 years. Candidates born between 02 January 1995 to 01 January 1999 can apply for the posts in Indian Air Force. For the Ground Duty Staff (Technical & Non-Technical) Branches the minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 26 years. Candidates born between 02 January 1993 to 01 January 1999 can apply online for the posts in Indian Air Force.
Branches – There will be 3 Entries in the Air Force Common Admission Test 2018 exam which includes AFCAT Entry, NCC Special Entry, and Meteorology Branch. Under the AFCAT Entry there are three branches as follows – Flying Branch (Course Number 205/19F/SSC/M & W ), Ground Duty Technical Branch (Course Number 204/19T/PC/M and 204/19T/SSC/M & W ) and Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch (204/19G/PC/M ). Under NCC Special Entry there is Flying Branch with Code Number205/19F/PC/M and 205/19F/SSC/M & W and in Meteorology Branch there is Ground Duty Non-technical Branch.
