AFCAT 2018 Exam | Check Syllabus Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The AFCAT 2018 shall comprise of the following sections including General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability & Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test in the test. The AFCAT syllabus in its various sections like GA section shall further carry questions from History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Science, Defence, Culture, Art etc. While the English language section includes Comprehension passage, Error detection, sentence completion etc. The Numerical ability part includes decimal, fraction, simplification, Profit loss, ratio proportion, percentages combined questions etc. The verbal ability and spatial ability forms the mental ability and reasoning section in the AFCAT 2018 test.
As far as the question of exam pattern for the AFCAT 2018 is concerned, the test shall be of 300 marks in total comprising of 100 questions carrying three marks each. Moreover, 1/3rd of the marks of the wrong attempt shall be deducted as the negative marks while evaluating the AFCAT 2018 test. The total time duration allotted for the AFCAT 2018 exam is 2 hours.
