Afsar (New Punjabi movie): Story of Tarsem Jassar and Nimrat Khaira

The story of Afsar revolves around Jaspal (Tarsem Jassar) and Harman (Nimrat Khaira). Jaspal is posted as a senior government officer and Harman is a government school teacher. Jaspal falls in love with Harman and wants to marry her. But the only difficulty is that Harman’s father wants his son in law to be posted as Patwari (lower govt officer). Now the actual story starts when  Harman asks Jaspal to be in the post of Patwari as per her father’s will.

Whereas to do so Jaspal has been accused of being unfaithful so that he can be demoted to lowe post. But the accusation breaks Harman’s trust and she agrees to marry another guy of his father’s choice. Will Jaspal prove himself right and marry Harman? Find out the same in theatres near you.
