After the 2018 Swift Now Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is Getting A Stylish Facelift

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is rumored to launch this festive season sometime in August

Maruti Ertiga has maintained a strong foothold in the Indian car market even after facing stiff competition from the new set of compact SUVs that have taken the market by storm. Things have improved significantly well since Toyota decided to move the Innova up the hierarchy up several notches and the only completion for the Maruti Ertiga came by the Mobilio and Evalia. However, both those cars have met their fate and have been discontinued due to poor sales.

Now the only choice left for the value conscious buyer in this segment who wants the comfort of seven seats is left with the option of the very reliable Maruti Ertiga. Now Suzuki is all set to give the car a major upgrade to keep it relevant according to 2018 standards.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift: What To Expect

Maruti Ertiga has been one of the more conventional looking vehicles by Suzuki and although not a bad thing, the lack of updates has made it rather boring. Now the company is all set to make up for it with a brand new Facelift for the Eritga which we believe will launch sometime later this year. Rumours suggest that the MPV like design will be ditched for a crossover like styling which the customers in India have come to love.

The new 2018 Facelift of the Maruti Ertiga will be anything but subtle. The car will have improved dimensions that will translate into roomier cabins. Also, the addition of LED DRL’s and an all-new infotainment system including Apple Carplay and Android Auto is expected.

Maruti Ertiga 2018 will be based on the new HEARTECT platform which it will share with the new Swift and the Baleno. This will make the car lighter and help it achieve better fuel economy than before. Safety features will be as per Suzuki’s standards and ABS along with front Airbags might be offered on Maruti Eritga’s standard variant.

2018 Maruti Ertiga Price In India

The all new Maruti Ertiga 2018 Facelift is expected to see the light of the day during this festive season sometime in August. However, at the rate the car has been spied in India testing on road might suggest to a launch earlier than that. Expect the Maruti Ertiga price in India to be largely the same with a premium of 20-30 thousand due to the addition of new features. This is all but speculation for now that goes without saying.
