AICTE to Start Online Portal for Better Network & Job Opportunities

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is planning to start its own online portal for the students pursuing technical education to have a seamless network for job opportunities. It will be a community portal of AICTE that will connect over 10,000 technical institutes including engineering, management, pharmacy, hotel management and architecture colleges of India. 

AICTE online portal and its benefits

The online community portal of AICTE will be developed in phases in terms of states across India. AICTE will take at least two years of time in setting up this online community portal, which is going to be one touch point for all students, their parents, alumni and corporate organizations with avenues. The students from technical colleges of India can get directly connected with entrepreneurs and corporates for their jobs, training, internships or higher studies via AICTE’s community portal.

AICTE’s brainchild, this online community portal will be developed by a startup, Fourth Ambit, who hails from Kerala who has recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the All India Council for Technical Education. AICTE’s all regional, state universities along with the directorates of them to be connected technical colleges will be part of this project.

How will AICTE’s online community work 

The main benefit of having an online portal by AICTE is to provide exposure, job opportunities, an interactive diaspora for better communication for education and jobs. All the technical colleges connected with AICTE’s online portal and build their own communities of students, teachers, and parents all under one umbrella. Also, the students who are still undergoing graduation or post graduation courses can have industrial insight on various aspects with the help of corporates and startups who can guide them for future avenues. Also, the AICTE’s community portal will work as a recruitment platform where the recruiter can directly approach students and hire them.

Though the AICTE’s community portal might take another two years to get implemented full-fledged, students are going to benefit from it for sure. The portal does not only promises job opportunities but also tries in building a network of a better connection between the raw minded students and the skilful on ground reality with startups and corporates.
