The Malaysian airline, Air Asia, which is very much functional in India has come up with its lucrative offer of Rs 99 base fare for domestic flights. Air Asia has commenced its big sale of Rs 99 base fare under the promotional offer that will be valid until November 19. The travel period of the Big Sale offer of Air Asia will from May 2018 to January 2019.
This is not the first time, such a sale on flight tickets have started in India. Earlier than Air Asia, Spice Jet, Indigo, Go Air and Air India have started the big sale on its base fare for domestic flights. Well, Rs 99 is the base fare only for flight tickets travelling to domestic destinations.
Details of Air Asia fare with break up
Going to the website of the Air Asia, Rs 403 was the lowest fare on the route of Bhubaneswar-Ranchi. However, when we tried to book the ticket, we were given two prices. Apart from this, there is an option for Bhubaneswar-Ranchi ticket from Air Asia priced at Rs 613 and the return ticket from Ranchi to Bhubaneswar for Rs 466. The base fare of Rs 99 on Air Asia domestic flights will only be applicable to the online booking with non- refundable processing fee on the payment from debit or credit card. Some of the airfare of Air Asia includes airport taxes and the airfare is likely to rise with the add-ons including the baggage of 20 kgs per passenger along with their onboard meals.
However, Air Asia hasn’t officially revealed the number of seat availability under the Big Sale offer but there will be limited seats for the early birds only. The Air Asia’s offer- Big Sale will only be applicable on the short distance flights only.
Other Air Asia flight routes and their fare under Big Sale
Well, here are some of the more domestic flights of Air Asia under the Big Sale that are rated dearth cheap on their official website. The Kolkata to Bhubaneswar and Kolkata and Ranchi flights are available at the fare of Rs 1,001, flight for Guwahati to Imphal can be bought for Rs 1,096, one can reach Bengaluru from Hyderabad at just Rs 1,061, travelling Goa from Hyderabad by Air Asia at Rs 1,297, one can fly from Srinagar to New Delhi by Air Asia at Rs 1,099, Goa to Bengaluru at Rs 1,087 and at Rs 1,289 one can cover Hyderabad to Kochi.
Apart from these, there are some the domestic flights of Air Asia that are available at the price of peanuts including Ranchi-Kolkata at Rs 571, Bhubaneswar-Kolkata at Rs 507 and Kochi-Bengaluru at Rs 764.
