Air India Offers 50% Discount Tickets for Students, Army & Senior Citizen

National Carrier – Air India has announced new discount offers of 50% on Air tickets for the students, Army and Senior citizen. Air India took on twitter and came up with an idea to attract more flyers by offering 50% discount on ticket fare for selected categories. The offer of Air India is only valid on economic class in the domestic flights of the airline.

After being into losses, Air India has started to regain their passengers by offering great discounts on the base fare of the Airline. The sale of 50% discount ticket offer has been started from the 1st of September.

Air India 50% Discount offer for Students, Senior citizen & Army men

After announcing the 50% discount offer on the ticket fare over the twitter, Air India remarked a great response in the sale of the ticket. Although the closing date of the discount offer has not been disclosed by Air India, the Airline has surely mentioned the terms & conditions for the passenger flying under the new discount offer.

Started from 1st September 2017 & the end date has not been announced by Air India yet.

Travellers have to book the tickets 7 days before the travel date.

Tickets will be made available on the first cum first serve basis.

Air India also mentioned that the students availing the offer must be under the age of 12-26 years enrolled in full-time course of any recognised institution in India.

Even the 50% discount on ticket fare of Air India is also valid with the family member of active army men.

Whereas the age bar for Senior Citizens to avail the discount offer by Air India is 60.

Even the travellers availing the discount offer of Air India have to keep the id proof while travelling.

And additional benefits from Air India

In addition to the 50% discount ticket offer for the special categories, Air India has also declared some additional benefits for their passengers. Air India has been offering a free check-in of 25 kg baggage under the same discount offer of the Airline.
