Airtel Prepaid Plan 149 with Unlimited Calls & 1GB Data
According to the reports of Telecom Talk, Bharti Airtel has revised the plan 149 and start offering unlimited calls and data with a validity of 28 days. The pack is not valid for all prepaid customers and restricted to some circles of Airtel. Plan 149 of Airtel may be launched in future for all customers of Airtel. This is a great move by Airtel to counter the 149 plan of Jio.
In the 149 plan of Airtel, the telecom operator is offering 1GB data for 28 days. Not 1GB per day but is 1GB for 28 days. So it is worth buying or not? Decide yourself. The plan further offers unlimited calls. These unlimited calls in the Airtel 149 plan offer all local, all STD and all unlimited roaming outgoing calls. There is 100 free SMS per day on the pack 149 of Airtel. The validity of the 149 plan of Airtel is 28 days.

So with the recent revision in the Plan 149 of Airtel, the plan only matches the calling benefits of Jio but not the Data Benefits. The calls are totally free in both plans i.e in Jio 149 plan and Airtel 149 plan. Both operators offer unlimited local, STD & Roaming Calls.
Talking about the data benefits, this is the place where Airtel plan 149 lacks behind the 149 plan of Jio. One side Jio is offering 1GB data per day and other side Airtel is offering 1GB data for 28 days. It simply means that in Jio 149 pack users will get 28 times extra data.
