The number of 4G Prepaid Plans are increasing day by day by all telecom operator in India to give a tough competition to each other. When a new plan is launched by any telecom operator then the other telecom operator either revise its one plan or launches a new 4G prepaid plan to compete. This month Airtel brings its Prepaid plan 299 for its users under which the telecom operator is offering 2GB data per day with free calls.

Just after the launch of this plan, Vodafone also launched the 255 prepaid plan with similar benefits. And the plan 249 and 255 plan competes directly with the Jio Plan 198. Here are the comparison details of all three plans. Check it out.

Calling Comparison – First of let’s compare the calling benefits of Airtel plan 249, Vodafone plan 255 and Jio Plan 198. All these plans offer free calling but only Airtel and Jio offers Unlimited calling. Yes, There is a difference in free calling and unlimited calling. There is no FUP or daily/weekly calling limit on the plan 249 of Airtel and 198 of Jio while the Vodafone plan comes with a daily calling limit of 250 minutes and weekly calling limit of 1000 minutes.

Data Comparison – The plan 249 of Airtel, 255 of Vodafone and Prepaid plan 198 of Jio offers 2GB data per day. All these plans come with a validity of 28 days which makes the data total to 56GB. Well, this is equal in all three but in Airtel and Vodafone plan you can’t use free data beyond the 2GB daily limit and in Jio the data usage is free even if you cross the daily usage limit (low-speed data usage after limit).

SMS Comparison – All the three plans offer free SMS to anywhere in India. Users of Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone in these plans will get 100 free SMS per day. This is the section where all the three plans are equal.

Which One is Best

In terms of calling benefits Airtel 249 plan and Jio 198 plan are best as compared to Vodafone plan 255. There is no limit on calling in Jio and Airtel while in Vodafone there is FUP on Calling. In terms of SMS, all three plans are equal. And lastly in terms of data Jio plan is best as it offers unlimited data usage.
