Bharti Airtel has revised its prepaid plan 149 and now started offering unlimited calls and data. The plan offers unlimited calls with 1GB data. The recent revision in the plan 149 of Airtel makes it compete with the Reliance Jio Plan 149 that offers unlimited data and calls for 28 days.
Airtel Plan 149 Details
The latest plan 149 of Airtel offers all unlimited local calls, all unlimited STD calls and all unlimited calls on roaming. The recharge plan 149 is not applicable for all users and according to the reports of Telecom Talk, the 149 plan of Airtel with these benefits is applicable in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Maybe in the coming days, the plan will be applicable to all Airtel Prepaid users. The plan earlier offered Unlimited Airtel to Airtel Calls and 1GB data. But now the plan offers unlimited local and STD calls.
This recent revision in the 149 plan of Airtel is to compete with Jio 149 plan that offers unlimited calls and data. In Jio 149 plan telecom operator is offering 1.5GB data per day with free calls and SMS. If we compare both 149 plans then Jio is the best plan as it gives 1.5GB data per day while Airtel is giving a total of 1GB data for 28 days.
Airtel Prepaid Plan 179 & 199
Airtel has two more plan that comes below the price of Rs.200 and offers unlimited calls and data. the first plan is 179 plan of Airtel and in this plan, users will get all unlimited calls including the local calls, STD calls, and Roaming calls. The plan offers total 1GB data and the validity of this plan is 28 days. Airtel Prepaid users will also get 100 free SMS per day in this plan.
The second plan is the 199 plan of Airtel. In this plan, Bharti Airtel is offering 1.4GB data per day and the validity of the 199 plan of Airtel is 28 days. The pack also comes with unlimited calls and SMS. There is no restriction in the calling. The Airtel 199 plan directly competes with 149 plan of Jio in terms of calls and data. Airtel has many other plans in which the telecom operator is offering free calls and unlimited data usage.
