Airtel Set To Roll Out Its VoLTE Services Next Week | Will Compete With Jio Free Calling

Now it’s the time of Airtel to take on Reliance Jio with VoLTE service. Airtel is all set to launch the VoLTE service in next week. This will be the biggest game changer. Next week Airtel will launch the VoLTE service and by the end of this fiscal year, Airtel will expand its VoLTE services in all cities.

Airtel will launch the VoLTE service in next week. Mumbai will be the first city to get the Airtel VoLTE service. After that, it will be expanded to all other majour cities in india. Sunil Mittal owned Airtel will adopt the VoLTE technology and after that will give a tough competition to Mukesh Ambani owned Relaince Jio. After the launch of VoLTE service in Mumbai, it will be launched in Kolkata and then other metro cities. And by the end of this fiscal year on March 31 the VoLTE service will be rolled out in the entire country.

Jio 4G The Only VoLTE Service Provider in India

As of Now, Reliance Jio is the only Telecom operator who is providing VoLTE service in India. Reliance Jio was launched last year and from the beginning, it is providing VoLTE service. But now Airtel will be on the list. Airtel will become the 2nd major telecom operator in India to give VoLTE service in India. After the launch of VoLTE service by Airtel, Reliance Jio and Airtel will become equal. Earlier Airtel is providing only normal voice calling. Last month Jio launched the Jio Phone at a price of Rs.1500 and the Jio Phonealso comes with 4G and VoLTE support. And similarly Other smartphone company are also planning to launch budget 4G feature phone to compete with Jio.

What Is VoLTE Service

VoLTE a short form of Voice over LTE and LTE stands for Long Term Evolution. The VoLTE service gives the more clarity in voice calls. It is just like High definition calls. If you call over VoLTE and on Normal calling, you will see the difference between VoLTE calling and normal calling. VoLTE calls will be HD type and clear.
