The city beautiful Chandigarh is attracting a lot of Bollywood personalities and this time it is Anil Kapoor who is in Chandigarh for the shooting of his film. It’s not just Anil Kapoor but also Arjun Kapoor who’s in the city for shooting. The name of the movie is ‘Mubaraka’ and it will showcase some cool locations of Chandigarh. The real life Chacha- Bhatija jodi has entered the city with full ‘Punjabi style’.
Mubaraka and Chandigarh
Chandigarh says ‘Mubaraka’ in an amazing way to the team of the film in its mahurat. On the occasion of mahurat both the actors Anil and Arjun arrived in Chandigarh like Maharajas on a chariot along with the director Anees Bazmee. Followed by some balle balle Punjabi music, dhols and bhangra. ‘Mubarakan’ has 12 days shooting schedule in Chandigarh that has been started from Thursday (24th Nov 2016). After the wrapping up of Chandigarh location shoot, it will be shot in different locations of Punjab and UK. Mubarak will be shot in various location of Chandigarh, that include:
- A kothi (bunglow) situated in Sector 9
- Sukhna Lake
- Various gardens
- Chandigarh International Airport
All the major beautiful locations will be captured by the camera to be featured on the silver screen.
About ‘Mubarakan’ and its Highlights
Anees Bazmee’s upcoming film ‘Mubarakan’ will feature Anil Kapoor, Ajun Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Athiya Shetty in the lead role. The story of the movie is described as the My Big Fat Greek Wedding- meets- No Entry, that will revolve around a big Punjabi family attending a destination wedding in Europe. The story of “Mubaraka” revolves around the character of Arjun Kapoor, who is an eligible bachelor and 2 beautiful ladies want to marry him. Anil will be playing the love guru for Arjun and help him to choose best lady between the 2. It will be a comedy movie that will showcase the big fat Punjabi destination wedding on silver screen.
