The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Recruitment official notification 2018 has been released. All the candidates who are interested to appear for the APPSC Recruitment should visit the official website that is – http://www.appsc.gov.in/. As per the notification released, the Andhra Pradesh Government is known to have decided to conduct a recruitment drive in order to recruit as many as 18,450 posts so as to fill the existing vacant posts within the various departments of the government.
As per the APPSC Recruitment Notification 2018, the recruitment for a total number of 18,450 posts is for the different posts and vacancies in the departments as well as the state secretariat. Orders have been released by the state government to conduct direct recruitments to fill the vacancies for different posts.

Out of the total posts for the APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) Recruitment 2018, 182 posts belong to Group – I, 337 posts belong to Group – II and 1,670 posts belong to Group – III. Apart from this, 3,000 posts are for the Police Executive, 1,604 posts for the medical and 1,657 posts belong to others. Direct recruitment will be done for the 9,275 teaching posts as well as for the 725 lecturer posts. As per the officials’ plan, the first APPSC official notification is set to be released by the last week of October followed by the second one which shall be released by December end.
As per the reports published, it has been formulated that the APPSC recruitment procedure for a number of 6,000 posts is set to be completed within a time frame of 6 to 12 months. In the coming weeks, the test schedule and syllabus for the Group – I Exam for the different posts will be released and uploaded on the official website mentioned above. The Group – I Exam pattern is also going to be different, reportedly.

For the APPSC Recruitment 2018, the students will have to appear for the preliminary (prelims) exam which will have two papers that is the general studies as well as an aptitude test. The Telugu language paper along with English is an addition in the Group – I Mains Exam. Whereas, the syllabus for the Group – II and III will be common and subject to the screening and the Main test. The students should also note that the objective test will be held online and will consist of negative marking.
If more than a number of 25,000 enrollments are witnessed, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2018 will be done on the basis of the fixed cut-offs for the different categories. The cut-offs can also be lowered if the appropriate number of enrollments for the APPSC Recruitment 2018 are not witnessed.
