APSET 2017 results are out for the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) held on 30th July 2017. This exam was held in 31 subjects across the six regional centres at Vishakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram [Rajamundry], Guntur, Tirupati, Anantapur, and Nellore. The total of 32282 candidates appeared for the exam this year who can now check the ASPET 2017 results and cutoff at the official site apet.net.in.
A per the latest updates, out of 32282 only 2,229 candidates have qualified the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2017, making the total pa percentage of 6.9 percent which is more than the last year. Alo, this year total of 43,023 candidates registered for APSET out of which 4,095 applications were filled for Telugu only followed by the chemical sciences, English and life sciences.

APSET Reservations 2017 and Cut-Offs
As per the UGC guidelines, all the qualified candidates are then distributed as per the state reservation policy of Andhra Pradesh. The reservation of Andhra Pradesh includes the reservation for a backward class, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates.
BC-A [7%] , BC-B [10%], BC-C [1%], BC-D [7%] and BC-E [4%] along with SC [15%] and ST [6%]
The reservations are also extended for the women category and PWD candidates. 33.33% of the reservations are issued for the women category and 3 % for the PWD candidates foe r APSET 2017.
It is mandatory for all the reserved category candidates to furnish their category certificate at the time of document verification.
