Assam Police Recruitment 2018 For Post of Constable – Important Dates
As of now the official notification for the Assam Police Constable Recruitment have released. the online application process for the same will start from 2nd May. The last date for the online application is 2nd June. All candidates are advised to fill the application form on or before the last date. The admit card for the exam will be notified soon once the application process closed. And the exam date will also be announced after the end of the application process.
Assam Police Recruitment 2018 – Vacancies
There are total 5494 vacancies for the post of Constable in Assam Police. For the post of Constable in Unarmed Branch of District Executive Force (DEF), there are total 1851 vacancies. The reservation will be 10% for the ST(P), 5% for ST(H), 7% For SC and 27% for OBC/MOBC. Thirty percent (30%) of the vacancies will be (horizontal) reserved for women candidates in Unarmed Branch of DEF.
For the post of Constable in Armed Branch, there are total 3643 vacancies. The reservation will be ST (P) 10%, ST(H) 5%, SC 7%, & OBC/MOBC 27%. Ten percent (10%) of the vacancies will be (horizontal) reserved for
women candidates in Armed Branch.
Assam Police Recruitment 2018 – Other Details
There is no application fee for the post of Constable in Assam Police. The minimum Age limit for the application process is 18 years and the maximum Age limit is 25 years. For SC/ST candidates age relaxation for 5 years, OBC – 3 years and PH 10 years. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written test, PET (Physical Efficiency test) and Physical Standard Tests.
