Asus Launches New Phone – Asus Zenfone V with 23MP Camera | Know Full Specifications & Price

Asus has just launched an affordable smartphone the Asus Zenfone V. The Asus Zenfone V comes at a price of less than 400$ and for that price it gets some pretty high end specs. It doesn’t have something as high end as a Samsung Galaxy Note of the Apple Iphone 8 but the price bracket it comes at, it will compete with mid rangers from other manufacturers.

Features of the Asus Zenfone V:

The Asus Zenfone V gets a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. At a time when 5.5” is the standard among the new smart phones we are glad Asus did not go that way.

When it comes to the chipset the Snapdragon 820 is the heart of the powerhouse of the Asus Zenfone V mated to a Adreno 530 GPU.

The memory standards are pretty 2016 as it does away with just 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Though, the presence of a card slot can expand the memory of the Asus Zenfone V to 256GB.

The camera is a single lens 23MP unit with dual tone flash, f/2.0 aperture. Asus Zenfone V’s camera has 4-axis OIS along with 3-axis EIS which can take some pretty high end pictures. The front shooter remains a decent 8MP but with a 88-degree wide-angle lens that can take more detail in the background. Other than that the Asus Zenfone V has standard features like the:

Fingerprint sensor

3.5mm audio jack

USB Type-C

3000mAh battery with fast charging

Sadly NFC and water resistance are not part of the package.

Price and Availablity of the Aus Zenfone V:

The Asus Zenfone V is a Verizon exclusive in the U.S. for now and comes at a decent 384$ for the specs it offers. It can also be had for 16$ a month on contract.

The availability in the Indian market seems unlikely for now but if the device does well and is well received the Asus Zenfone V may make it to the Indian shores with a different name. Expect it to be priced around 28000INR when it lanches in India.
