Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Review | Does The Phone Beats Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro?

Asus has recently launched a new smartphone Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India. The phone is in highlights just because of its price and the specifications. The phone’s biggest highlight is the dual rear camera setup at the back and the massive 5000mAh battery in the hood. The phone will compete against the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Honor 7X Smartphone. Xiaomi is known for its budget smartphones with high-end specifications, but this time Asus Zenfone is the Killer one.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 – Design & Looks

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone is launched in Midnight Black and Grey Color options. The frame of the phone is made up of Aluminium and the backplate is made up of metal. There are no sharp edges on the phones. The phone comes with a 5.99-inches screen. There is no notch on the screen. At the back panel, there is a dual camera setup with flash is available. The camera module is on the top left corner of the panel and the fingerprint sensor is sitting on the right side of the camera.

On the left side of the phone, there is a sim card tray. Users can use only two nano sims with a microSD card. This is similar to the design of sim tray in Redmi Y1. The volume button is on the right side and the power button is below the volume button. At the bottom, there is a headphone jack and USB Type C port of charging and also a single speaker.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 – Camera Specs

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with a dual rear camera. The first sensor is of 13MP and the depth sensor is of 5MP. The Primary sensor on the camera is an OmniVision sensor with f/2.2 aperture and the secondary sensor is a depth sensor. For the video calling and selfies, there is an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. Both, the front and the back camera comes with LED flashlight.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 – Technical Specs

The phone comes with a display of 5.99-inches. This is a dual sim phone and supports nano sim. The phone runs on Android Oreo 8.1 operating system. The phone will also get the Android P and Android Q upgrades in the future. this is the best part of the phone. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. There is 3GB & 4GB RAM available on the phone but the 6GB RAM variant will soon see the light of the day.

The internal storage of the phone is 32GB & 64GB. Users can expand the internal storage via microSD card. The biggest highlight of the phone is the 5000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and Micro-USB.
