Baahubali enters IIM-Ahmadabad Syllabus | And here’s the details for the Students

Earlier to Baahubali, Aamir Khan's Lagaan & SRK's Chak de India were included as the case study of leadership training in IIM-Indore.

IIM-Ahmedabad is all set to include Baahubali movie in the syllabus from the new session 2018. Indian Institue of Management, Ahmedabad has been planning to include Baahubali’s Case study in the syllabus for the students. S S Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali made numerous records in the history of Bollywood industry & has been the most earned commercial movie.

By earning Rs. 2000 crores at the box office, Baahubali 2 became the highest revenue generator in the Bollywood industry. From its technology to the marketing, every bit of things used in Baahubali was a never seen before moment for the audience in India. Prabhas’s Baahubali left a powerful impact on Indian audience as well.

Here’s Why Baahubali made it to the Syllabus of IIM-Ahmedabad

And now it has been official that the IIM-A will be including the case study of Baahubali movie in the syllabus from the new session. And the same will be authored by IIMA Alumnus & Bharathan Kandaswamy. As Baahubali showcases the amazing blend of creativity & technology, at some point in time it also shows the modern times marketing strategy. And as mentioned by IIMA, the case study on Baahubali will be an elective subject for the second year student on the movie business.

The Syllabus of Baahubali movie case study in IIMA also includes each & every step of the execution of the same. Like- how the script has been selected by the makers to the marketing & distribution of the movie Baahubali. Last year only IIM added a course in the syllabus in how digital entities like Netflix, Hotstar & Amazon have been causing disruption in the film industry.

And more Bollywood movies entered IIM Syllabus

It’s not for the first time that a movie has been included in the syllabus of Indian Institute of Management (IIM). Earlier to Baahubali, Aamir Khan’s Lagaan & SRK’s Chak de India were included as the case study of leadership training in IIM-Indore. Also Hrithik Roshan starrer Krish was added to the syllabus in IIM Indore for the marketing strategy & packaging of the movie. In 2007, Aamir Khan’s Ghajini was also a part of discussions in many management institutes.
