Badhaai Ho Box Office Collection Rs. 31.5 Crore on Day 3 | Ayushmann Khurana on a Roll

When compared to Stree and Raazi

Two big projects including Namaste England and Badhaai Ho reached theatres this week. The two days earnings have showcased that the Ayushmann Khurrana – Sanya Malhotra starrer has made its way to the hearts of audience during the festive weekend.

The film with a new concept has pocketed an estimated Rs 31.5 crore in just 3 days. A resurgent Saturday remained lucky for the movie and helped it earn around Rs 11-12 crore.

Badhaai Ho, which circles around the story of unexpected pregnancy of a middle-aged pair, has made around Rs 7.92 crore on Thursday. On Dussehra, which was on Friday, it earned Rs 11.67 crore and its overall collection reaches Rs 18.96 crore. The flick shows the effect of unexpected pregnancy on the middle-aged pair Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao and their family.

Trade forecaster Taran Adarsh made a special tweet that Badhaai Ho is the winner at this time. It remains ‘SUPERB’ on the second day. The flick has made Rs 7.29 crore on Thursday, Rs 11.67 cr. on Friday.

Badhaai Ho compared to Stree and Raazi

The ace personality added that on weekend, Badhaai Ho will perform well. In comparison to Ayushmann Khurrana’s starrer Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Namaste England has been unsatisfactory. Whilst it made about Rs 1 crore on Thursday, Friday resulted in a meagre Rs 2 crore facts.

The movie is likely to augment its earnings on Sunday as it is liked by one and all.

If compared to Rajkummar Rao’s super hit flick Stree and Alia Bhatt’s mega hit Raazi, Ayushman starrer also remained on top as a big winner. Stree made a 31.50 crore in three days whilst Raazi stood at 32.75 crore net.

The superstar Ayushmann Khurrana of Badhaai Ho fame had savored gigantic success with his courageous debut in 2012 starrer in Vicky Donor, his major hit thus far. The actor has given many flicks like Bewakoofiyan, Nautanki Saala and Hawaizaada that failed to impress the audience.

At last, during the year 2015, he returned to his favourite category of family drama with Dum Laga Ke Haisha in the year 2015. Ayushmann’s major hits comprise Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Andhadhun.
