S.S Rajamouli & Prabhas’s magnum opus Baahubali 2 is all set for the Pakistan International Film Festival (PIFF) 2018. Last year only, the biggest hit Baahubali The Conclusion got released over 100 screens in Pakistan & gained an amazing response. Now it has entered the biggest film festival celebration in Pakistan i.e PIFF, which will start from 29 March till 1st April.
In 2017, Baahubali 2 break numerous records in the history of Indian Cinema including the 2000 crore collection at the box office. Despite the political separation, Indian movies have been reducing the distance between the countries & has been opening doors to appreciate the creativity of one another.
SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 all set for Pakistan International Film Festival 2018
The 4 days long, one of the biggest film festivals in the country, Pakistan International FIlm 2018 will welcome movies from around the World. Starting from 29th March 2018, PIFF will end on 1st April 2018. And the director of Baahubali 2, SS Rajamouli himself shared the bigs news by posting it on twitter, he wrote- ‘Baahubali has given me opportunities to travel to a number of countries. The most exciting of them all is now, Pakistan, Thank you Pakistan International Film Festival, Karachi for the invite.’
PIFF 2018 will consist of screening documentaries, feature film, short films & much more during the 4-day long event. It’s not the first time but Baahubali series have been screened in several International Film Festivals like in- Moscow, Golden Horse Film Fest in Taiwan, Paris- L’Etrange International Film Festival & more. Now it turns to rock PIFF 2018.
Some more Bollywood movie at PIFF 2018
Not only Baahubali starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty & Tammanah Bhatia will be the entry from India for the Pakistan International Film Festival 2018. But some more Bollywood movies have also got entry to be screened in Pakistan during the event. Other Bollywood movies that will be screened during the Pakistan International Film Festival 2018 (PIFF) are- Dear Zindagi (Shahrukh Khan & Alia Bhatt), Ankhon Dekhi (Rajat Kapoor), Jolly LLB, Sairat (Marathi movie), Neel Batte Sannata, Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium, Kadvi Hawa (Sanjay Mishra).
Hope this move help to improve the relationship between both the countries & remove the ban on most of the Bollywood movies in Pakistan. We wish all the luck to all Bollywood movies including Baahubali 2 for PIFF 2018.
