In a bid to attract new users toward its network, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has come up with a new offer for all its postpaid users and new users who join the network. The BSNL has now started offering unlimited data on all postpaid plans. Users will now enjoy interrupted data even after the usage of limit is crossed. This is a great step by BSNL and surely this will attract users towards BSNL.
BSNL Unlimted Data on Postpaid Plans
The state-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has made a great move in the postpaid plans. The telecom operator is now offering unlimited data on all postpaid plans. BSNL has also launched data add-on packs for its users and the packs will be affective from 1st July. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited doesn’t make any changes in the plan but added unlimited data after the limit.
Users after exhausting the data quota will get a speed of 64 kbps. There is no restriction of usage of data at this speed and users can access the internet, download anything at this speed. According to the official notification of BSNL, all the postpaid plan will be converted to unlimited data plans with speed reduced to 40 kbps.
BSNL Postpaid Plans
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited aka BSNL has many postpaid plans starting from Rs.99. The telecom operator has a postpaid plan that offers daily data usage too. Some of the best postpaid plans of BSNL are BSNL plan 399, BSNL Plan 1125 and BSNL Plan 1525. In the 399 plan of BSNL postpaid, the telecom operator is offering 30GB data per month and after the 30GB data usage, users will get unlimited data at the speed of 64 kbps.
The 1525 plan of BSNL offers unlimited data without any limit. So it is understood that this change in the plan is not applicable to this plan as this plan already offers unlimited data without any limit. All the postpaid plans of BSNL offers similar benefits as they were offering earlier.
This is a great step by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and now it will directly compete with likes of Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone. Jio has 199 postpaid plan in which the telecom operator is offering free calls and 25GB data per month. Airtel and Vodafone users get the data rollover benefit in the postpaid plans. With the data rollover, the unused data of the current billing cycle is carried forward to the next month billing cycle.
