Bigg Boss 11 | Apart from Colors TV, Bigg Boss 11 Set To Air on MTV and MTV HD+

Bigg Boss 11 will now also air on MTV India and MTV HD+ to give its viewers an exclusive peek into the house of reality show. It comes as surprise that the Bigg Boss 2017 show which has an universal appeal across all the age groups will now air on a major International television network MTV India. MTV India and Colours are a part of Viacom 18 network which is a joint venture between Viacom and Mumbai based Network 18. Viacom operates the MTV network internationally and Network 18 is a broadcasting company owned by Mukesh Ambani.

Bigg Boss 11 content to air on MTV India networks on weekdays:

The programme named ‘Bigg Boss Extra Dose’ will air on the MTV India and MTV HD+ five days a week twice a day. MTV India and MTV HD+ plan to air the BIGG BOSS 2017 content between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM and again late at night from 11:30 PM to 01:00 AM.

It is to be noted that the content ‘Bigg Boss Extra Dose’ will air only on MTV India and MTV HD+ and the regular episodes will continue to air on Colours TV. The schedule of the colours TV remains unchanged. Bigg Boss 11 is scheduled to air Mondays to Fridays at 10:30 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00PM.

MTV India will connect the youth of India to Bigg Boss 11

 

Viacom18’s (MTV) Ferzad Palia said that they understand the youth’s constant need of wanting something more and hence want them to connect to the immensely popular show Bigg Boss 11. With the Bigg Boss 11 announcement on MTV India Viacom believes that they will be able to cater the needs of its huge customer base in a more effective way.

Bigg Boss 2017 is hosted by Salman Khan is an adaptation of Big Brother another popular show in the west. Bigg Boss 11 is hoping to lure younger generation to their audience by giving them exclusive content on their favourite music channel MTV India. The MTV India network already hosts its own bunch of reality shows other than Bigg Boss 11, Splitvilla and Roadies being the most popular of them all. It will be exciting to see how the youth base of MTV India reacts to the bits of Bigg Boss 11.
