BSEB Bihar Board 2018 New Exam Pattern & Helpline For Class 10 & 12 Students

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the new examination pattern and a helpline number for the students of class 10 & 12. The BSEB Bihar Board has taken this decision of changing the examination pattern for the class 10 (high school) and class 12 (intermediate) in order to lessen the burden on the students and help them to cope up with the peer pressure, stress and anxiety of the annual board examinations.

Not only this, the BSEB has decided to start the tele- counseling of the students who are about to appear for their annual board examination for class 10 (high school) and 12 (intermediate).

Changed exam pattern of BSEB Bihar Board for class 10 & 12

 Talking about the changed examination pattern of the BSEB Bihar Board 2018, for the students of class 10 and 12, the board has made the announcement of having 50% objective questions and writing answers on the OMR sheets. As this will be the first time for the students of the BSEB Bihar Board to use the OMR sheets in their annual board examination for high school and intermediate, the board will make them practice in advance with the final exams. The board will issue the dummy OMR sheets to the students to practice.

By introducing the 50% objective paper and OMR sheets in the BSEB Bihar Board 2018 examination, the board is aiming at improving the results of the students. Last year, in the BSEB Bihar Board 2017, 64% was the result of class 12 while 51 % was the result of class 10.

BSEB Bihar Board helpline no. for class 10 & 12 students 

For BSEB Bihar Board 2018 examination, the students can avail the newly started helpline number for the tele- counseling of the students of class 10 (high school) and 12 (Intermediate). There are five telephone numbers that will be operational as helpline numbers only for one week starting December 15. The experts will counsel students who are going to appear for their annual Bihar board examination 2018 and have any query regarding the objective type question, new exam pattern, syllabus, or even related the examination anxiety. These helpline numbers will work for a week every day from 11 am to 2 pm.

This year, less number of students have enrolled themselves for the BSEB Bihar Board examination 2018. In 2017, 12.5 lakh students have appeared for class 12 examinations and this year only 7.68 lakh have enrolled themselves for the BSEB Bihar Board 2018 examination. Similarly, for class 10, last year 17.2 lakh students had appeared and only 13.75 lakh have enrolled this year.
