BITSAT entrance examination conducted by BITS Pilani will be held this year from May 16 to 26, 2019. Registration for the exam had already started from January 4. The last date to apply for the exam is March 20, 2019. The application forms are made available online on the official website of BITS Pilani. Admit cards can be downloaded from April 19, 2019, onwards. BITS Admission Test is held annually for admission in three of its campuses namely Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.
In order to apply to BITSAT 2019, students first have to fill the online application form on the official website of BITS. The registration fee for the female candidates is Rs.2650 and Rs.3150 for males. International applicants who are opting for Dubai centre will have to pay an application fee of US$80 (Rs.5600).
Students are advised to first check their eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. It is necessary that they must have qualified 10+2, with a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Maths. Also, marks secured in each of these subjects separately should be above 60%. Students who are appearing for 10+2 examinations in 2019 are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Documents Needed for BITSAT 2019 Application Form
While filling the online application form for BITSAT 2019, students have to provide some necessary personal details like name, date of birth, email id etc. Apart from these, there is some list of documents which students have to submit like:
- Attested copy of Class 12th Mark-sheet
- Attested copy of class 10th mark sheet
- Scanned Photograph of 4 to 50 kb in JPEG/JPG format
- Scanned Signature of 2 to 30 kb in JPEG/ JPG format
BITSAT 2019 Application Fee Payment
Candidates can pay the fee for BITSAT 2019 through the following three modes.
Online Payment– Online payment can be made for BITSAT 2019 through credit or debit cards (issued by master and visa).
Net Banking– Fee payment for application form can also be made via net banking using online payment gateway of enabled accounts of all the banks displayed.
Cash Payment at ICICI Branches– Candidates can also apply to BITSAT 2019 by making cash payments at ICICI branches by downloading pay-in slips from the website and then depositing them with cash at ICICI bank branch.
BITSAT 2019 Exam Pattern
BITSAT 2019 is a multiple choice based paper with a duration of 3 hours. The exam comprises of 150 questions. The medium of examination will be English. Three marks will be granted for each correct answers, and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Total marks for the paper is 450 marks.

BITSAT 2019 Slot Booking
BITSAT 2019 will be conducted in 2 slots, Slot 1- 9 am to 12 pm and slot 2- 2 pm to 5 pm. Slot booking for BITSAT 2019 will commence in March 2019. For booking a slot for BITSAT 2019, students need to follow the below steps –
After filling in the BITSAT online application form, students have to create a login in the exam admission portal by entering details like application number of BITSAT 2019, gender, date of birth and mail id. After creating this login, students need to select the desired BITSAT exam test centre. Next, students need to select their desired exam date based upon the availability. In the last and foremost step, students need to select their desired exam slot amongst the two given sessions based upon their choice and comfort.
