The BSEB that is Bihar School Examination Board has announced the new exam pattern for the class 10th and 12th Board exam that is going to be scheduled for 2018. On Monday BSEB has announced that the new exam pattern will be implemented for both Class 10th and 12th exams by next year. The board exam for 2017-1018 session is going to formulated according to the new exam pattern that is decided by the BSEB. According to the board, the highest percentage score could cross the 90%.
The New BSEB Board Exam Pattern For 10th and 12th Boards
The Bihar School Examination Board on Monday made an announcement stating that the new exam pattern will be implemented for the 2017-2018 board exams. This new exam pattern will contain MCQs, Short answer questions, and long answer questions. According to the BSEB, 50% of questions will be multiple choice questions and rest will include the short and long answer questions.

Multiple Choice Questions – 15 [10 Questions are required to be answered], 100% Choice for Short Answer questions that is out of 10 questions, students are required to answer only 5 questions. And coming to the long answer question section, students will have an option in each question. According to the sources, this exam pattern will also be followed by numerical questions in Mathematics and Science papers.
In this new exam pattern, the language papers will include the questions crossing 5 marks that will include essays and comprehensions.
Important Notifications For BSEB Board Exams
The inter-mediate pre-board exams are scheduled to be conducted from 14th November. The main theory exam is going to begin from 6th February 2018. Pre-board for the matriculation will begin by 27th November and theory exams are going to be conducted in 21st February. The Practicals for the intermediate and matriculation will begin on 11th January and 22nd January respectively.
As per the board, all the schools are requested to conduct a sent-up exam to make students aware of the new exam pattern. Model papers for the exam are going to be uploaded on 7th November for matric examination. The dummy admit cards for the students will be issued in the month of December. The dummy admit cards for all the students will be available at their schools from where they have filled their forms. Students are advised to verify all the credentials mentioned on their admit cards and in case there are any errors, students should immediately consult the school authorities for correction.
This new exam pattern is going to be implemented for this year matriculation exam.
