BSNL 1699 Plan Vs Jio 1699 Plan: Festive season is on and there are a lot of deals around us. And to celebrate this Diwali Festive season Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has launched two new plans for its prepaid users. The plans are unlimited plans for one year and if recharged once than users will get free data, free calls and free SMS for a year.

Well, BSNL is not the first one to launch the unlimited data plan, calling plan with a validity of 1 year. Before the launch of BSNL unlimited plan 1699 and 2099, Reliance Jio introduced the Jio Diwali Dhamaka Offer with its new annual plan 1699. Calling Benefits: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has launched the plan 1699 under the BSNL Diwali Offer and the plan offers free calling to anywhere in India for 365 days. There is no restriction or limit on free calling in the BSNL Plan 1699. The best part of the plan is that all calls to Delhi and Mumbai circles are also free in 1699 plan.

Talking about the Jio Plan 1699, this plan of Jio is launched under the Jio Diwali Dhamaka Offer. The plan is offering similar calling benefits like the BSNL 1699 plan for 365 days. The calling is free in this plan including the roaming incoming and outgoing calls. There is no daily or weekly calling limit in this plan.

Data Benefits: Moving to the much-needed thing i.e data benefits, the plan 1699 of Jio offers 1.5GB data per day. After the usage of 1.5GB data per day, the data remains free but at low speed. The plan of BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) offers 2Gb data per day. Just like Jio, the BSNL Plan 1699 also offers unlimited data after usage of 2Gb limit. After 2GB usage, the speed will be revised to 80 kbps.

SMS Benefits: Talking about the SMS benefits of the BSNL & Jio Plan 1699m both plans offers similar benefits. Users will get 100 free SMS per day in these two plans. SMS in roaming are also free. If you are looking for a 4G plan then Jio plan is best as it offers 4G connectivity while the BSNL is offering 3G. But in terms of data, BSNL is best as it offers 500MB more data per day as compared to Jio 1699 plan.
