BSNL 4G/3G Prepaid Plan 118 Launched With Unlimited Calls & Data to Counter Jio 98 Plan

After the launch of the BSNL Prepaid plan 39 that offers unlimited calls, now the state-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has launched a new prepaid plan 118 for its prepaid users with free unlimited calling benefit and data usage. the new plan launched by BSNL will directly compete with the Jio Plan 98 that offers unlimited calling and 2GB data. BSNL 4G/3G Prepaid Plan 118

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has many plans in which the telecom operator is offering free and unlimited calling and data usage. BSNL has also many plans in which the telecom operator is only offering free, unlimited calling. But now BSNL has launched the plan 118 in which the telecom operator is offering free unlimited calls. The unlimited calls include all local calls, all std calls and all roaming incoming, outgoing calls.

There is no daily or weekly calling limit in the BSNL plan 118. As of now, the plan is active in many circles of Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, Chennai and more and soon it will be available in other circles of BSNL. the plan also offers 1GB data. Data usage up to 1GB is free in the pack but after 1GB, there are standard rates on usage. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days.

Reliance Jio Plan 98

The plan 118 of BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) competes with Jio plan 98. Jio plan 98 offers 2GB data usage with free and unlimited calling. The 98 plan of Jio offers all local calls free, all std calls free and all roaming calls free. The plan also offers 300 SMS. The validity of the plan is 28 days. Airtel has also a plan under Rs.100 under which the telecom operator is offering free calls and 1GB Data usage for 28 days.

The best part of Jio plan 98 as compared to BSNL 118 plan is the unlimited data usage after the high-speed data usage limit. In BSNL Plan 118, standard data charges are applicable after 1GB and in Jio there are no charges after 2GB data usage. The second thing is the 4G connectivity. BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) 4G is only in some circles while the Jio has 4G connectivity in all circles.
